      What is Digital Seva?

Digital seva CSC(Common Services Centre) is an initiative taken by the Indian government and by the department of electronics and IT, the ministry of communications and IT. It offers various government services through digital seva portal. The main agenda of this center is to provide services of government to rural areas and on remote locations where internet and computers are not available. The service center provides multiple transactions under one platform. CSC(Common Service Centre) is a way to provide compulsory public services like social welfare schemes, healthcare schemes, education schemes, and agriculture services at one platform.

Services offered by Digital Seva Portal

There are various services provided by figural seva portal in many streams like services related to Aadhaar, Agriculture, Banking and Pension, Education, Election, Government, Health, Insurance, and other services.


Aadhaar Demographic Update

Digital seva portal provides many services related to aadhaar. Aadhaar Demographic Update is one of them. Demographic details mean basic personal detail of a someone, such as a name, date of birth, gender, permanent address. By using CSC service one can update or change your demographic details.

Aadhaar Mobile Update

The service is provided to people so that they can change their mobile number on their aadhaar card easily. For this, you have to visit the aadhaar update center and fill the aadhaar update form. Enter your current mobile number in the form.

Best finger detection

Digital seva portal provides this service to update your biometric details in aadhaar. Aadhaar biometric authentication is based on the fingerprint analysis.


               Farmer registration

Farmer registration service is provided by digital seva portal for farmer registration on the portal. By using this service farmers can take advice from experts on agriculture-related issues. These experts will be given by the Indian government for providing advice to farmers at the state and center level.

          Online store

The online store is also known as KisaneStore. It is the first agro-store in India. It contains bio pesticides seeds, fertilizers, insecticides, tissue-culture, greenhouse, irrigation system for our farmers.

          Banking and Pension

       Pin Pad Device Service Payment

It is an electronic device that used for card-based transactions. The user can use your debit card, credit card and smart cards for online transactions. Today this device is available in many stores, supermarkets, malls for payment.


           SCLM Admission

Student Lifecycle Management(SCLM) section provide information on user management in the portal of SCLM. This portal uses authentication and administration mechanism of users provided by SAP Netweaver gateway platform. Students can register themselves on this portal and manage their profiles using all services provided by SAP.

          Tally Certification

The program is available for candidates by digital seva CSC. Any candidates who want to learn tally can apply for this course. After completing their course they can get their certificate.


  Birth and Death Application

The program is for the registration of death certificate and for the birth certificate of every person. To apply for birth and death certificate candidate needs to visit the CSC center and fill the application form of death/birth certificate and attach the specified documents along with the application form.

            Online FIR

CSC provides many programs to citizens Online FIR is one of them. If you want to report an FIR online then first you have to visit the official website and then click on the complaints option and them file FIR/complaint according to you.

           Ration Card Services

The CSC also provides ration card, services. For this, you have to visit on the official website. So if you want to apply for ration card then choose the apply option and fill the details and submit the application form.


       Telehealth Consultations

Like all other programs, we described above this program is also provided by Common service Centre. The program offers video and telephone-based consultation service all over India. In 2014 CSC SPV worked with Apollo hospitals for tele consultancy. After that in 2016 CSC, SPV launched its own health consultancy services which include allopathic, homeopathic and ayurvedic doctors from all over India.

Pradhan Jan Aushadhi Registration

Pradhan Jan Aushadhi program is mainly for poor peoples who can not afford costly medicines. The main agenda of this program is to provide quality medicine at affordable prices. This project was launched by the Bureau of Pharmaceutical Public Sector Undertaking(BPPI). CSC SPV and BPI work together to set up medical stores all over India under Jan Aushadhi Yojna.


Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna was launched on 14 January 2016 by the government of India. The motive of this program to reduce agriculture distress and for farmers welfare with our affecting the actual price of agricultural products.

Farmer’s Package Policy

This policy is specially designed for farmers to take care of their insurance needs. The policy covers personal assets of the farmers like dwelling and its contents against fire and theft. This helps them to earn their livelihood.


          Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan

It is the cleanliness campaign launched by the Indian government in 2014. The main agenda of this campaign to keep our country, city, and house clean. Ministry of urban development and CSC worked together for construction of household toilets all over the country. In 2016-17 around 5.6 lakh applications were submitted for household toilets through CSC network.

           Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna

It is a housing scheme launched by the Indian government. The main agenda of this scheme is to build affordable houses for urban areas people. The MoU underwrote between Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation(MHUPA) and CSC SPV for receiving applications through CSC network. Around 28 lakh application was submitted through CSC network during 2016-17 under this scheme.
